EXCITING THINGS ARE HAPPENING HERE

Exciting things are happening here! We are so thrilled to tell you about how we are growing and what is to come at Safe Places this year! 

We have received a $25,000 grant from Cherry Hills Community Church.

It is hard to overstate what this kind of partnership means. It is not just a financial gift. It is a statement that others see the work, believe in it, and are choosing to stand with us as we continue creating safe places for women to heal and rebuild their lives.

We want to take a moment to say thank you. Truly. We are grateful, and we are expectant for what this seed will grow into.

This gift also marks the beginning of something new.

We are stepping forward in faith to open a second home. This will be a workforce development home designed for women who are ready to work, but need a season of preparation, healing, and support to get there.

This home will offer a 90-day program where women can continue in their healing journey while also building the practical tools needed for long-term stability. That includes ongoing therapy and healing groups, as well as preparation in areas like financial management, conflict resolution, résumé building, and identifying their gifts and strengths so they can pursue meaningful employment.

Our goal is to fully fund the first 12 months of this home before opening it. The total cost to operate is $250,000, and with this initial $25,000 gift, we are now believing for the remaining $225,000.

We are trusting God for the timing. Our hope is to raise these funds within the next 12 months, but if the provision comes sooner, we will open the doors sooner. Every gift given toward this vision will go directly toward making this home a reality.
